Easy Steps for a Fresh & Clean Litter Box with Bentonite Cat Litter:
For optimal performance and a happy cat, please follow these directions:

1. Prepare the Litter Box:
   Start with a clean and completely dry litter box.
2. Fill it Right:
   Pour 3-4 inches (approximately 7-10 cm) of bentonite cat litter into the litter box. This depth allows your cat to dig comfortably and ensures effective clumping.
3. Daily Scooping is Key:
   At least once a day, use a litter scoop to remove all urine clumps and solid waste.
   Bentonite litter is designed to form hard clumps when wet, making this process quick and easy.
4. Top It Up:
   After scooping, add a little more fresh bentonite cat litter to maintain the 3-4 inch depth.
   This ensures the litter box remains inviting for your cat.
5. Complete Litter Change & Wash:
   Frequency: Completely empty the litter box and replace all the litter regularly. For one cat, this is typically recommended every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently if you have multiple cats or experience odor
   Cleaning: When you empty the litter, wash the litter box thoroughly with warm water and a mild, unscented soap or detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals like ammonia or chlorine bleach, as these can be harmful or deter your cat from using the box.
   Dry Thoroughly: Ensure the litter box is completely dry before refilling it with fresh bentonite cat litter.
6. Proper Disposal:
   Place scooped clumps and used litter in a sealed bag and dispose of it in the household trash.
   Important: Do not flush bentonite cat litter down the toilet. It can expand and cause serious plumbing blockages.
7. Transitioning Your Cat (if New to This Litter):
   If your cat is new to this bentonite litter, introduce it gradually. Start by mixing a small amount of the new litter with your cars current litter. Over a week or so, gradually increase the proportion of the new litter while decreasing the old. This helps your cat adjust comfortably to the new texture and scent.
